Pharaoh -
I am the leader of Ancient Egypt. I am the most important person in ancient Egypt. My job is to look after Egypt. I don’t like to get dirty so I have slaves or other workers to do all the dirty work for me.
Vizier–
I am a very busy Vizier. I give a lot of advice to the Pharaoh’s. I also supervise the other officials, judge law breakers and make sure people pay their tax.
Scribe -
I am one of the few that learnt how to read and write in ancient Egypt. I record the pharaoh’s orders and decisions. I help the Vizier and the Director of Seal to keep tax records.
Potter -
I make many pots that are very useful for people. I make the pots out of clay and use my hands to mould it into different shapes. Some pots get shipped to other countries and many others stay here in Egypt for people to store barley and wheat, food items and water. All my friends are potters as well. Sometimes they make jewellery, papyrus, boats and furniture.
Linen workshop supervisor -

Famer and his Wife -
My wife and I are hardworking farmers. We work every day growing many crops including Barley, wheat, lentils, beans, leeks, onion, cabbages, radishes, lettuces, cucumbers, juicy melons, dates and figs. We also grow flax that is used to make linen. I dig canals for irrigation and preparing the soil. During the time when the Nile River floods we help the Pharaoh’s with building work and work on the pyramids.
Slave -
I am a hard working slave in Egypt. I work in the palace of the pharaoh. Many other salves work in the hot desert and mines. Many other slaves work in houses as servants, gardeners, farms and build pyramids and temples or are musicians and dancers for the Pharaoh’s.
